Dermal Fillers
Dermal Fillers are hyaluronic acid injectable gels; a naturally occurring substance in the skin used to smooth away facial lines, wrinkles & to add or restore volume.
How do Dermal Fillers work?
At Monroe Aesthetics we only use premium quality dermal fillers to ensure we can smooth, fill, and plump out your wrinkles, fine lines, and creases.
Dermal fillers are made up of hyaluronic acid, which helps you to temporarily smooth skin and fill minor skin irregularities.
As we age, our skin loses its elasticity. This can also mean that the skin may also lose volume and begin to sag. This can cause one to look older. To help eliminate this; we can inject dermal fillers to make your features look more plump and fuller to give you a youthful and natural appearance.
What is involved?
You will receive a face to face consultation. This is where we’d discuss your concerns and what you’d like your outcomes to be. We will then discuss the type of fillers; how much filler will be needed to treat the area and the expectations of the procedure. We will then move on to the procedure this where numbing cream will be applied to the area for 10 minutes. Then a precise and skilful injection is done using a tiny and fine needle. The treatment should take approximately 30 mins and you will be able to see the enhanced volume and definition.
